WOT Season 2 Pt 7

    "Naesala, are you ready for all of this?" "Oh, come now, Tibarn, you know me, I'm untouchable..." "Sure..." "Oh, who asked you?" "Will you two quit? It's starting".  Leanne scolded them as the announcer said who was fighting whom.  "The first match, Lethe Harp vs Ranulf Basalis, the second match, Naesala Morello vs Kakashi Hatake, the third match, Tibarn Vantel vs Itachi Uchiha, and the fourth match, Ulki Van Hent vs Kurenai Yuhi!".  "Aw, crap, I gotta face Lethe?  I'm boned..." "What?" "Its a word Ike taught me when he returned from that portal that sucked him into another world." "Ah..." "Anyway, I have to prepare if I'm gonna face Lethe..." "Hopefully, you won't get crushed again..." "Yeah, see ya, Kyza!".  As he ran off, Lethe conversed with her sister.  "Try not to break his bones, ok, sis?" "I won't, I'm more worried he'll either run away, or, defeat me with little effort..." "You're strong, don't worry about that!  I'll look forward to your match!  See ya!" "Be good in the stands, Lyre!" "Yeah, whatever!".  Lethe just smiled as her sister ran for the stairs to the stands.  After the warm-ups, both contestants stepped onto the field.  "I'm surprised you showed up, Ranulf..." "Well, I was afraid you'd just hunt me down and beat me to a pulp wherever I hid, so..." he stated as he shrugged.  She just laughed at him and stretched her arms.  "Come on, Captain!" "Get ready, Lt. Lethe!" "Hey, I'ma Captain now, remember!?" "Don't matter, you'll always be a Lt. to me!".  They then launched at each other.  As their struck fists, they each were moving another body part to attack, almost mirroring each other.  All the Laguz had decided not to transform, for it would not be fair, in their minds, to use their shifted forms to fight the ninja of the Hidden Leaf.  Both of the cats moved with such grace and alacrity that they seemed to meld into each others attacks, blocking and striking with amazing speed.  Kakashi himself, watching, was impressed with their speed.  Finally, Ranulf landed a hit, sending Lethe into a tree.  Pressing the attack, he threw himself at her, which she used to attack him when he hit the tree with his fist, punching him in the stomach repeatedly, keeping him aloft with her speed and strength.  Using his falling momentum to swing his fists into her head, slamming her into the dirt.  After recovering from her assault, he did a large backflip to distance her from him.  As if communicating with her through telepathy, they both used magic, taught to them by Naesala.  Each used their affinity to empower their attacks, Ranulf using Arcwind, with Lethe using Arcthunder.  Their attacks collided, making a large dustcloud.  Using smell, they attacked again, going back into a stalemate.  As the dust cleared, they began to tire.  Each attack began to slow, showing their fatigue.  Using up a bit of their lessening energy, they each did several quick backflips.  "Alright, Lethe! Lets finish this with a bang!" "I agree!".  Each began to prepare their best attacks.  Ranulf's right arm began to swirl wind around it, creating a small vortex.  Lethe's right arm began to course with powerful lightning.  Lethe, using another type of magic taught by Naesala for an extra fee, made the lightning turn black with the power of dark magic.  Ranulf, seeing this, turned his plain wind arm into a living hell who got hit by it.  He infused it with Fire and Earth, creating a disaster in magical form.  "Take this! Thunderous Hell Strike!" "Here I come! Earth-Shattering Fire Swirl!"  Dashing at each other, the attacks collided with devastating force.  The explosion was heard in the next town over, a large booming sound followed by the wind that was forced away by it.  It knocked a full grown man over, it was so forceful.  In the aftermath of the explosion, Ranulf and Lethe were standing, looking at each other.  Suddenly, Lethe began to faint, but Ranulf caught her, but as he did, he faded out as well, and they ended up with her on his chest, looking like she was sleeping.  The announcer was now out cold, so his partner took over for him.  "Double Knockout! No winner, but no loser, apparently!"  The crowd cheered for the spectacular ending.  Janaff credited himself for giving such a good improv announcement.  He looked over at the unconscious primary announcer, and just laughed.  He then re-picked up the mic, and announced the next match, Naesala vs Kakashi...
